A Day on the Water

Rogers Lakewood park is a beautiful fishing destination. It sits on 122 acres of beautiful land with three main ponds. Wonderful for boating and sitting on the many docks for a long day of fishing. Though there are many more things to do at Rogers. The main highlight is the fishing. The lake is stocked every year with many assortmants of fish. The main fish to catch are, bluegill, crappie, small and large bass, and catfish. If you are not an owner of a boat, simply rent a paddle boat or rowboat. All in all this is a great park.

Pros: Wonderful fishing, you will always get a bite. Large beutiful ponds for fishing.

Cons: Duck feces is something that needs to be addressed quickly at Rogers. I would recommend not swimming there.
